The South Galiano Island Fire Department recently took delivery of their new Rosenbauer wildland rear mount pumper, constructed on an International 7400 4x4 four door chassis. Each chassis features a 330 HP MaxxForce 9 engine mated to an Allison EVS-3500 transmission. The apparatus carries a 500 Imperial Gallon water tank. A Rosenbauer NH-30 normal-high pressure PTO pump moves water at a rate of 3,000 Litres per minute.
